A final scarf design for first project of semester 1: ‘Blossoms and Blooms’, design screen printed, then scanned into photoshop and illustrator and digitally edited and visualized as seen.
Photoshop is wonderful, but it really hurts my head. I like to think that I have interpreted this floral project in a very me way; in that it is very different. I am enjoying using mushrooms as my inspiration and it’s lovely to see how everyones projects are really different even though we are all following the same brief. From everything from imagery down to the colour it’s all different. Coral is looking at menswear, Mia at linings, and I at Scarves and it’s strange how the same brief is leading to such a broad range of designing.
I love how being inspired by the triply colours of Wonka’s Imagination land has just led to the thought of chocolate….
I LOVED these when they came out in 2005, (though it was a long time ago and I can’t remember the taste…). Too bad they don’t sell these anymore.
