Be creative.

Moodboard to showcase my ideas and themes for my ‘Trend and Innovations’ project in Level 2, semester 2 (final level 2 project consisting of a 4 week brief). For this project I worked along side a fellow print student, two fashion design students and a knitwear student with the aim of creating an upcoming fashion trend for Autumn/Winter 13/14. Our trend was name ‘Hyper Nature’ due to the high tech and scientific approach that we took on nature. Key artists that inspired our trend were Macoto Murayama and Damien Hirst. WGSN trend prediction site have now come up with a trend titled ‘Next Nature’ which focus’ on many of the key elements that we looked at for our own predicted trend.

This is one of my final designs for my ‘Postmodern Conversations’ project - second project of level 2, semester 1. The aim for this project was to design wallpaper for large interior spaces. I chose to portray my designs in public transportation areas such as airline waiting rooms and large train stations as you can see visualized next to the design.
